while mommy gets ready in the morning the kids get to watch a movie while snuggling on mommy and daddy's bed...the good life!
my milk mustache boy...i have to remember he's only 3 and half. he's reading 3 letter words now. we've also started reading 'little pilgrim's progress' (a chapter book) and he sits and listens. he brings us back to reality though...there's still TONS of 3 year old things that he does that test our patience!

Isaiah, I have two words for you - Public Library. Time to get your own library card. Sounds like you are ready to spend an hour there a couple of times a week. You may have to start with a shorter amount of time but the fun of picking out books you want to read is going to feel so great.
Natalie, keep picking books like P. P. to read to him. He can understand words at a much higher level than he can read right now. This will help with his auditory processing skills along with increased vocabulary and an understanding of the rhythm of the language. But the extra blessing through all of the fun you will have, is how much you will not even know the other "sponge" Alaythia is also absorbing.

you guys are beyond super. we miss you lots. helping Audrey learn to read has been one of my favorite times in raising her thus far...so rich and full watching them grow. I love the wresetling pics with Matt, and the kids smiles are so authentic and deep - you are a blessed woman but of course you know that! I am so glad you are happy Nat!
